Prices

are quoted inclusive of UK duty and VAT.  We reserve the right to change our prices and pass on increases should they be incurred.

 

Payment

should be made at the time of ordering by switch, delta or credit card (other than Amex or Diners).

 

Delivery

of 2 or more cases is free to the UK mainland, with the exception of the Scottish Highlands.  Single case deliveries to the UK mainland (with the above exception) will incur a £8 surcharge.  Regrettably, all deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands will incur the relevant surcharge, so please discuss with our staff as to how these might be minimised.

 

Our carriers

 

provide an excellent 24-hour delivery service from Monday to Friday (for all orders placed before 2pm). Simply notify us of your preferred date, and we will do our utmost to comply.  If someone will not be at home or place of work to accept the delivery, it is helpful to provide instructions as to where the wine may be securely left.  Timed or Saturday services can be offered at a surcharge, so please ask us if you are interested.

 

Missing Wine

 

or cases damaged in transit must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of advice of dispatch.  If you are expecting a delivery and have not received it within 3 working days, please notify us.  Cases should be opened and examined on arrival.  If this is not possible, the carrier’s sheet must be signed “unexamined”.

 

Cancellation

 

of an order is possible in part or in full, for up to 7 days after the delivery is made.  We will then arrange collection of the wine and reimbursement of the appropriate sum.

 

Substitute

 

wines may be used to complete an order if a particular wine is out of stock.  In these instances, a member of our staff will endeavour to telephone you to explain the situation and, where appropriate, to discuss the possible alternatives.  In the absence of instructions to the contrary, an appropriate substitute may be used to complete an order, providing that we are confident it is fully the peer of, and as good value, as the unavailable item.

 

Data Protection

law governs the retention and use of personal customer information by Yapp Brothers.  Any such data is held in compliance with the regulations and we will not pass information to others to allow them to market to you.
