Alsace: Muscat d'Alsace 2005
Muscat d'Alsace is a wonderfully versatile wine that makes a delicious summer aperitif, pleasant partner to salads and picnic foods or charming post-prandial 'sun downer'. Traditionally, it is served with asparagus or prawns.
Charles Schéret is based in the delightful village of Turckheim just west of Colmar on the river Fecht and has been supplying Yapp Brothers for over 20 years. Charles cultivates the full spectrum of Alsace grape varieties and is widely recognised as one of the finest vignerons independents in the region. Charles’s wines have garnered more medals in wine competitions than those of any other wine-maker that we ship from and they are known for their distinctive varietal characteristics.
