This pale, salmon-coloured rosé displays crisp, redcurrant fruit and a clean, dry finish.
In addition to the sweet Muscat de Cap Corse, Lina Pieretti-Venturi also makes a fine dry Coteaux du Cap Corse rosé that is blended from roughly equal parts of Nielluccio, Grenache and Alicante. It has an attractive brick-pink colour, fragrant red berry aromas and fresh, dry finish.
Jancis Robinson MW - JancisRobinson.com 13th July 2011 says:Nielluccio, Grenache and Alicante. How does she get it so relatively light? Picks in July?! Such a pale salmon that it looks almost white in the glass. Scented and southern – more herbs. Lots of freshness – really pretty tart. It must be lovely sitting in Corsica by the sea but might seem a little tart on a cold winter’s day. 12%
