Costières de Nîmes: Château Roubaud: Cuvée Passion Blanc 2010

A sapid dry white, made from 60% Roussanne and 40% Grenache Blanc. It has subtle notes of honey, wild herbs and flowers and a rich, fruity, slightly peppery palate with a well-balanced acidity leading on to a fresh, dry finish. Ideal food pairings are seafood, white meats and goat cheeses.

  • Vinification: The grapes are picked at optimum ripeness, de-stemmed and, after racking, the juice is fermented for 20 days with malolactic fermentation being blocked for extra vitality. The wine is then fined and filtered prior to bottling.
