A generous weight of dark, autumnal fruit precedes a rich, spicy palate of black hedgerow fruit.
The Camp Galhan ‘Les Pérassières’ is made from a traditional blend of Grenache and Syrah and has a bouquet of wild herbs and berries and rich, briary palate of black fruits and earthy tannins.Lionel Pourquier of Domaine Camp Galhan is an up-and-coming Vigneron Independent who left the relative security of the local coopérative at Ribauté-les-Tavernes in the year 2000 in order to go it alone. Lionel’s wines have already graced the pages of Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and amply illustrate the value that can still be found in France’s lesser-known viticultural backwaters.
