Faugères: Chateau Estanilles 2008
The Château des Estanilles Faugères blanc is made from a classic Northern Rhône blend of 70% Marsanne and 30% Roussanne. It is fermented on its lees and raised in a mixture of new and used oak barrels for up to 12 months before bottling. The finished wine is rich and weighty with a bouquet of wild flowers and white peaches and a persistent, mouth-filling, mineral-edged palate.
