A succulent palate of sweet orchard fruit is offset by a clean acidity. The unique smooth taste displays rich, hazelnut and sherry-like flavours which develop on the palate as the wine matures. In the finest vintages it is headily decadent with complex mineral undertones and succulent, honeyed tinges.
