Montlouis Wine
We have been importing wine from the Berger family in Montlouis since 1976 so have had plenty of time to acquaint ourselves with their wine-making and are happy to report that it is remarkably consistent. Their Mousseux Brut has a lively mousse, uplifting orchard-fruit scents and an ozone-fresh palate offset by crisp acidity. It makes for a versatile aperitif and partner to canapés. Their still Montlouis Sec is nervy, dry and mineral-edged and makes a fine partner to seafood or a chevre chaud salad dressed with walnut oil.
