Vouvray Sec 2010

The refreshingly oak-free Vouvray Sec 2010 from Domaine Aubert has a classic Bramley apple bouquet and a lovely, crisp, clean orchard fruit palate underscored by a fine acidity that will help it age well although it is drinking beautifully right now.

Vouvray Sec 2010

This apple-scented, mineral-edged, whistle-clean Chenin Blanc makes a perfect foil for the locally-made potted pork rillettes. It is a dangerous combination as both are very more-ish.
Bien classique! This will make a great Summer aperitif or partner to goats cheese, salads (or rillettes).
