Bellet: Domaine de la Source Blanc 2010

Domaine de la Source Blanc is an esoteric dry white wine with subtle hints of Provençal pine. Made from pure Rolle, the wine displays aromas of pear and wild flowers when young and quince and toasted almonds when it reaches maturity. The dry but fruity palate has balanced acidity and good fruit characteristics, preceding an alluring dry finish.

Bellet Wines - Buy Wine from the Bellet Region of France

With just 60 hectares under vine in the hills above Nice, Bellet is one of France's oldest, smallest and least well-known enclaves of viticulture. Although deserving wider recognition, Bellet's modest production of red, white and rosé wine is rapidly snapped up by the well-informed (and well-heeled) Niçois who know when they are on to a good thing.
Fortunately, we have forged an enduring trading relationship with one of the region’s finest but least prolific producers, Jacques Dalmasso of Domaine de la Source.
