Côtes du Luberon: Château la Canorgue Rosé 2011

Provence is renowned for it's rosés, and Château la Canorgue's is a superlative example. It is made from a blend of 60% Grenache Noir, 30% Cinsault and 10% Syrah. The Côtes du Luberon blanc is equally zesty and uplifting - both are light enough to be drunk on their own but would happily stand up to bouillabaise or pissaladière.

What others think of this wine...

Jancis Robinson MW - JancisRobinson.com says:

Syrah and Grenache. Mid salmon. Attractively herby nose... Clean and fruity. Just very slightly winemaking rather than vineyard but a decent mouthful of fruit. 12.5% 16/20.
