Château Grillet
The monopole appellation of Château Grillet, on the west bank of the Northern Rhône, is home to one of France’s oldest and finest vineyards. Planted exclusively with Viognier in a stunning, five hectare, mica-rich natural amphitheatre, this impressive locale and its eponymous 13th century Château have been attracting wine lovers for centuries. The estate has been in the hands of the Neyret-Gachet family since 1840 and the experience passed down through generations has been augmented, in recent years, by the expertise of highly-regarded oenologue, Denis Dubourdieu.
