Gamay de l'Ardèche 2011

The small, specialist co-opérative of Saint-Désirat, which lies 20 kilometres north of Tournon on the RN 86, makes some superb Saint Joseph as well as this ever-reliable Gamay that has long graced our wine list. Bursting with raspberry and violet aromas and summer berry flavours, it is a failsafe ‘pouring’ wine for picnics and barbecues.
