Côtes du Vivarais 2009
A beguiling, briary Côtes du Vivarais from the Vignerons Ardéchois. Made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault, this is a new addition to our list that proved immensely popular when we road-tested it last year.
What others think of this wine...
Simon Hoggart - The Spectator July 2010 says:"The grapes are grown on the mighty gorges of the Ardèche river, that gives the wine a real backbone to go with the Grenache and Syrah fruitiness. There's a hint of sour cherries here too - a truly remarkable wine."
