Châteauneuf du Pape: Domaine du Père Caboche Blanc 2010

This refreshingly oak-free white Châteauneuf’ is one of the best around. It is made from a blend 40% Bourboulenc, 25% each of Clairette and Grenache Blanc and 5% each of Picpoul and Roussanne and is fresh, clean and fruity with subtle citrus aromas and a bright, zesty finish.

• Vinification: The grapes are picked by hand at optimum ripeness and are immediately crushed prior fermentation at 16°C. Malolactic fermentation is blocked in order to preserve the fruit, aromas and acidity. Bottling takes place rapidly in order to preserve the wines freshness.
