This lip-smacking, supple blend from Vaucluse has dollops of red fruit and warm, spicy flavours. A wine made by Jean-Pierre Boisson (former Mayor of Châteauneuf-du-Pape) and his daughter Emilie.
Made from a blend of Syrah, Egiodola, Caladoc and Marselan, this Vaucluse wine has a wealth of bright berry scents and flavours and a core of juicy, sweet fruit on the palate supported by supple, ripe tannins. It has the stuffing to age for a further 2 to 3 years but is already drinking beautifully on its youthful fruit.

Domaine du Père Caboche (Jean-Pierre & Emilie Boisson)
Jean-Pierre Boisson, former long-serving mayor of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, runs Domaine du Père Caboche with his children Emily & Nicolas. Members of the Boisson family have been both winemakers and blacksmiths for generations. The family nickname of Caboche derives from the old Provençal word for 'horseshoe nails' and their Vieilles Vignes cuvée is named after Elisabeth Chambellan, a local blacksmith's daughter who married Jean-Louis Boisson in 1772.
