Gigondas: Pascal Frères 2007

Yves Chéron, who runs the highly regarded ‘Pascal Frères’ négociant house, has a proud history of supplying us with wines that show the benefit of bottle-age. His generic Gigondas is packed with Autumnal fruit over a background of tannins that have started to sweeten and soften with age.

  • Producer: Pascal Frères
  • Vintage: 2007
  • Grape variety (Cépage): Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault

Wonderful service, I felt Merrion was listening to what I told him of my wine tastes and he made a teaching session feel like a collaboration. As a result I am finding wine buying a fairly easy and pleasurable experience.
