Coteaux de la Cèze, Domaine Maby 2010

Coteaux de la Cèze is a zonal Vin de Pays on the far Eastern border of the Gard département. It produces two-thirds red wine and one-third rosé, but very little white.

This red wine is ideal for picnics and barbecues and carefree everyday drinking. Indeed, the sort of wine it is useful to have open in the kitchen to sip at, cook with and offer to impromptu vistors.

The wine is aged for 12 months in used oak barrels, filtered and bottled between 18 months and 2 years after the vintage. The yield is 55 hectolitres per hectare.
