Saint Péray: Nature 2009
In addition to the sparkling Mousseeux Brut, Jean-Louis Thiers also makes this commendable still Saint-Péray nature that is fermented in a mixture of enamel and steel vats (it doesn’t see any oak) and is bottled in the Spring after the harvest. It has a generous weight of ripe orchard fruit, subtle mineral undertones and an elegant dry finish and is well suited to simple fish and poultry dishes.
