Tavel Wines
France’s only exclusively rosé appellation, Tavel, sits across the Rhône North-West of Avignon, on the edge of the Gard. Winemakers here (who often have vine-holdings in nearby ‘technicolor’ Lirac), produce, serious, brick-pink, food-friendly wines from Grenache supported by Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre.
