Tavel: Domaine Maby La Forcadière 2010
This resplendent rosé wine is made from 9 different grape varieties - principally Grenache Noir and Cinsault but Bourboulenc, Carignan, Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Mourvèdre, Picpoul and Syrah all play a supporting role.
Arguably a little fuller and more refined than the rosé Lirac from Domaine Maby, this too is a berry-scented belter with bags of ripe red fruit and a savoury, dry finish. A large dish of roasted Mediterranean vegetables with crumbled feta cheese, couscous and a harissa dressing would be an apposite accompaniment.

Yapp Brothers Staff Tasting 23/06/2011 says:(As endorsed by John Livingstone-Learmonth – see blog). Quite weighty, good with summer foods. Attractive brick pink colour and red fruit flavours. Good BIG rosé.
