Savoie: Domaine de L'Idylle Mondeuse 2010

The favoured red grape in these parts is Mondeuse which Philippe and François Tiollier deploy to good effect in an eponymous bottling. It has a bouquet of dark berries and cherries and a palate of black fruit with earthy undertones and supple tannins.
