Savoie: Domaine de l'Idylle Vielles Vignes 2010

‘This has the light touch I particularly like and a clean appley, finish. It’s terrific with a tartiflette.’ Peter Grogan – Telegraph Weekend.

Savoie: Domaine de l'Idylle Vielles Vignes 2010

An old vine bottling from the Jacquère grape, L'Idylle has a little more depth and weight than it's L'Orangerie sibling and is consequently more of a 'gastronomic' wine, although it too has plenty of Alpine freshness.
It would stand up well to the local specialities of raclettes or fondue.
