Sounds like your New Zealand trip and presentation went fantastically. The boyfriend and I have been refining our wine palate stateside as the weather has been uber snowy and cabin fever has necessitated alcoholic sustenance. We've been experimenting with a variety of different wines from the Napa Valley and surrounding areas, but haven't yet explored Syrah.
