Founded as a
Rhône
and Loire specialist in
1969 by then full-time dentist, Robin Yapp, Yapp
Brothers is now run by his son, Jason and step-son,
Tom. Although the company has since broadened
its range to include wines from the Alsace, Provence,
Champagne, the Savoie, Roussillon, the Midi, Corsica
and Australia, the Yapp ethos of sourcing the finest
examples a region has to offer, remains
unchanged.
Yapp Brothers is widely known as an efficient mail
order company, but the company also supplies many of
the best restaurants in the UK (see Restaurants

supporting a lively retail shop at the Old Brewery in
Mere, Wiltshire (open between 9am and 6pm Monday to
Saturday) where customers can elicit the advice of a
