Julien Seydoux's delicious white Faugères is from a blend of 45% Marsanne, 45% Roussanne and 10% Viognier and it's a versatile partner for fish and poultry dishes. This bottling is called 'L'Impertinent' in homage to Julien's cheeky Fox Terrier who is depicted on the label.
A spicy, mid-weight Faugères red wine comprised of Syrah, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Carignan. Food-wise, bavette frîtes, confit du canard or a fricassee of wild mushrooms would be ideal.
