The 2003 Shiraz Georgia’s Paddock exhibits an inky/blue/purple color along with a big, sweet nose of lead pencil shavings interwoven with charcoal, blackberries, cassis, licorice, and a touch of oak. This larger than life, multi-layered, intense, pure Shiraz possesses supple tannin, giving it a certain accessibility even though it will have 10-15 years of aging potential."

"Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 Georgia’s Paddock Shiraz has a pronounced nose of black cherries, creme de cassis, black pepper and loam with hints of coffee, anise and yeast extract. Medium to full-bodied and with a great concentration of spicy / peppery black fruit flavors, it has just enough acid and a medium to firm level of velvety tannins, finishing long. It’s a wonderfully elegant expression of this vineyard. Though approachable now, it should drink best 2014 to 2024+."

Fred Filliatreau's red Saumur Château Fouquet that comes from vines just outside the Saumur Champigny appellation seems to be getting better with every vintage that we ship.
