This Monbazillac from Domaine de l'Ancienne Cure is a wonderfully rich sweet wine which is deep gold in colour and has a complex palate of dried fruits and honey underscored by a zesty acidity. With a chilled glass in one's hand, one is transported to a balmy evening in the Dordogne.
Very pale, clear and dry white wine with a faint note of elderflower on the nose. Mid-palate, there is wonderfully crisp, citric fruit backed by brine and flint undertones with a clean, fresh finish.
