Saint-Pourçain: 'Cuvée Printanière' Blanc 2022
This popular, mid-weight Saint-Pourçain white wine from the Auvergne has subtle citrus aromas, fresh, zesty fruit flavours and a crisp and clean finish.
The Saint-Pourçain blanc, bottled as 'Cuvée Printanière', hails from a blend of Chardonnay and local curio Trésallier that are Spring-bottled to conserve freshness. It makes a failsafe aperitif, a partner to 'fruits de mer', and comes into its own when matched with the local cheese St Nectaire.

Union des Vignerons
The Union des Vignerons Cave Co-opérative of Saint Pourçain is a benchmark example of a pioneering modern operation producing well-made inexpensive and reliable wines. Saint Pourçain is the most far-flung of all the Loire satellites - being just as geographically close to Burgundy and the Rhône. It is affiliated to the Loire as it lies on the Sioule tributary and very near the larger Allier tributary and has long been classified as a Loire wine.
