Our 'not to be missed' Christmas Sale where over 30 wines will be open for tasting and on offer so that you can 'try before you buy'. It provides a fabulous opportunity to stock up for the Festive Season!
For the past few years, the one event for me that personally triggered thoughts that Christmas really was coming never was the Coca Cola or John Lewis adverts but the annual pilgrimage to the Colston Hall in Bristol, to see Motörhead – each to their own I guess!
The second big kick that I’d hit the point of no return Christmas wise is the fastidious preparations to open the cellar doors at Yapp HQ for the Yapp Brothers Tasting & Sale in the last weekend in November. We’re now in the process of selecting the wines we’ll be opening on the 29th and 30th November, all will be not only offered at a reduced price at the Sale but will also be ideal to see any home through the festive season!

The Yapp Xmas Sale gathers momentum every year and 2013 is no exception. It’s not quite on the scale of our recent residency at Olympia for the Spirit of Christmas Fair but you will be able to stock up on top notch wine and food. As well as having over 30 wines open for tasting, our good friends will also be with us offering up their respective goodies: Purveyors of delicious organic cheese, Godminster (http://www.godminster.com/), sublime delicacies from The Chesil Smokery (http://www.chesilsmokery.com/) & Mr Filberts inventive recipes, nuts and oils (http://mrfilberts.com/) will all be in situ – so you can gather enough to fully replenish stocks on the home front – Christmas buying made easy! And to keep you on the straight and narrow, Claude the Butler (the ‘Other’ Citroen H Van - http://www.claudthebutler.co.uk/) will be selling all the fresh coffee, hot chocolate and cakes you can handle.
So, put a note in your calendar of choice, it’s free to turn up on either day – we’ll open the doors at 9.30am on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th November. Join us, taste some top flight wines & food, stock up & get ready for all that Christmas 2013 might have install.
Sadly, we’re not offering trees or turkeys this year but I think we’ve covered everything else!
