Bourgogne Chardonnay: Closerie des Alisiers 2021
This wine is a classic, unoaked, crisp Chardonnay which is an ideal starting point for exploring our white Burgundy range. Made by savvy, young négociant, Stéphane Brocard, who was instrumental in helping us develop our Burgundy offering, it's a delicious, crisp and unoaked wine to savour on its own or with a simple dish of fruits de mer.
Bottled under Stéphane's 'Closerie des Alisiers' label, this dry, crisp and minerally Bourgogne Chardonnay has a nervy minerality, a whistle-clean unoaked palate and an elegant dry finish.

Stéphane Brocard - Closerie des Alisiers
Stéphane Brocard is a branché Chablisien who found his family's wine business becoming crowded when working alongside his brother and sister-in-law and sister and brother-in-law. An intimate knowledge of Burgundy and a hankering to do his own thing led him to set up a boutique négociant business - Closerie des Alisiers - contracting in small parcels of carefully selected grapes, as well as investing in a precious plot of Pommard, for which he has high aspirations.
