Tasting Notes
Yves Cheron assumed responsibility for four hectares of Côtes de Nuits vines that were bought in the 1930s by his grandfather Paul Misset.
The 170 hectares of Chambolle Musigny that lie on chalky soils between Clos de Vougeot and Morey St Denis produce some of the most elegant, restrained Pinot Noir wines of the Côte d'Or and were a favourite of Alfred Hitchcock.

Domaine Misset-Cheron
We had been aware for many years that our goodfriends the Chérons originally hailed from Burgundy, where they retain significant vine holdings. As a younger sibling, Yves Chéron had moved to Gigondas to ply his trade, producing a range of excellent Southern Rhône reds (several of which are bottled under the popular Pascal Frères label) that have become staples of our range. Recently, Yves assumed responsibility for the 4 hectares of Côtes de Nuits vines that were bought in the 1930s by his grandfather Paul Misset and which, impressively, include 2 hectares of the 50 hectare walled Grand Cru vineyard of Clos de Vougeot.
