Domaine Paul Misset
We had been aware for many years that our goodfriends the Chérons originally hailed from Burgundy, where they retain significant vine holdings. As a younger sibling, Yves Chéron had moved to Gigondas to ply his trade, producing a range of excellent Southern Rhône reds (several of which are bottled under the popular Pascal Frères label) that have become staples of our range. Recently, Yves assumed responsibility for the 4 hectares of Côtes de Nuits vines that were bought in the 1930s by his grandfather Paul Misset and which, impressively, include 2 hectares of the 50 hectare walled Grand Cru vineyard of Clos de Vougeot.
