Colin Collection Mixed Case Offer
£225.00

Ever on the hunt to thrust exciting new wines in front of thirsty customers, we were thrilled to begin importing the wines of Domaine Bruno Colin recently.

From the long Colin dynasty in Burgundy's Côte de Beaune, Bruno was granted his vines after his father, Michel's, retirement in 2003. The winery is based in Chassagne-Montrachet and he is most famous for his crystalline, mineral, taut whites from the village and its surrounding premier crus. Not to be overlooked, however, are his range of perfumed, succulent, accessible reds and great value Bourgogne Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. We believe this to be five star addition to our Burgundy portfolio and commend this introductory six-pack to you.

This mixed case contains one bottle each of:

WHITE:
Bourgogne Chardonnay: Domaine Bruno Colin 2018
Chassagne-Montrachet: Domaine Bruno Colin 2018
Chassagne-Montrachet: Domaine Bruno Colin Premier Cru 'Les Chaumées' 2018

RED:
Bourgogne Pinot Noir: Domaine Bruno Colin 2018
Santenay: Domaine Bruno Colin 'Vieilles Vignes' 2018
Maranges: Domaine Bruno Colin Premier Cru 'La Fussière' 2018

This mixed case includes

1 x Bourgogne Chardonnay: Domaine Bruno Colin 2018£0.00

Bruno Colin’s Bourgogne Blanc is a very drinkable introduction to the white wines of Burgundy, the Côte de Beaune in particular. It’s a great value, weighty, white Burgundy from a top producer in the approachable rich 2018 vintage.

1 x Chassagne-Montrachet: Domaine Bruno Colin 2018£0.00

Bruno Colin’s classic Chassagne-Montrachet is a step up in quality from his Bourgogne Blanc and a great introduction to white Burgundy from one of the great Chardonnay appellations in the Côte de Beaune. Fermented and aged in oak, it’s a terrific treat from a top producer in the approachable rich 2018 vintage..

1 x Chassagne-Montrachet: Domaine Bruno Colin Premier Cru 'Les Chaumées' 2018£0.00

Top-class Premier Cru white Burgundy from a rising star in one of the great Chardonnay appellations of the world. The ‘Les Chaumées’ lieu-dit is situated on the east-facing slopes above the village of Chassagne-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune.

1 x Bourgogne Pinot Noir: Domaine Bruno Colin 2018£0.00

Bruno Colin’s Bourgogne Pinot Noir follows its sibling Chardonnay as a very drinkable introduction to the wines of Burgundy, the Côte de Beaune in particular. From concentrated juice from 30-50 year-old vines planted on clay-limestone soils, it is aged in oak barrels (25% new). It’s a great value, red Burgundy from a top producer in the approachable rich 2018 vintage.

1 x Santenay: Domaine Bruno Colin 'Vieilles Vignes' 2018£0.00

While head-quartered in Chassagne-Montrachet, Bruno Colin has a number of parcels of vines in neighbouring appellations. His ‘vieilles vignes’ (old vine) Santenay is produced from vines planted in 1959, which produce intensely-flavoured Pinot Noir fruit.

1 x Maranges: Domaine Bruno Colin Premier Cru 'La Fussière' 2018£0.00

To the south of Santenay lie the three villages of Maranges which take ‘Les Maranges’ as a suffix and make up this largely Pinot Noir appellation, the most southerly in the Côte de Beaune. Being lesser-known than more glamourous Pinot Noir appellations further north, means it tends to be a bit of a well-kept secret.
