Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence: Domaine des Oullières Blanc 2020
A gorgeous white wine from Provence which has been particularly well received on these shores. Food and wine matching expert Fiona Beckett described it as "An intense, fragrant, Vermentino-based white to drink with seafood", and we heartily concur!
This white Coteaux d'Aix wine is produced from a blend of Vermentino and Sauvignon Blanc. It has a bouquet of white flowers with hints of fennel and a crisp, dry palate of peaches and pears with alluring undertones of herbs and oil.

Domaine des Oullières (Famille Ambrosio Collomb Vignerons)
Based just outside the picturesque village of Lambesc, 20 kilometres north-west of Aix-en-Provence on the elevated escarpment of the Chaîne de la Trevaresse, Domaine des Oullières has been run by the aptly-named Ambrosio Collomb family for 7 generations.
Their three Coteaux d'Aix wines - red, white and rosé - make them an enviable one-stop shop for Provence fans. We consider ourselves fortunate to have secured a healthy annual allocation as they are making wines of real personality with a strong sense of terroir.
