Côtes de Thongue: Domaine Les Filles de Septembre Rosé 2022
The Côtes de Thongue red is a Yapp bestseller, so we were delighted so discover that their coral-pink rosé wine ticks all the required boxes too - zesty, dry, refreshing and great value!
The 40 hectare Domaine Les Filles de Septembre' (so called as the two owners both have two daughters born in September) is situated just outside Pezenas and produces great value 'Vin de Pays' wines from Mediterranean and Bordelais varieties.
The thirst-quenching Thongue rosé wine is a welcome addition to our cellars and should be served chilled as a crowd-pleasing summer aperitif or partner to salads, dressed crab, grilled gambas or charcuterie.

Domaine Les Filles de Septembre
Hugues & Roland Géraud are 5th generation wine growers who took over the family estate in 1995 and made the bold decision to stop selling their production 'en vrac' (in bulk) to local négociants but to bottle their own wine. They needed to name the estate and settled upon 'Les Filles de Septembre' as both brothers have two daughters each, and two of the four were born in September. They farm 40 hectares of vines encompassing lots of Mediterranean and Bordelais varieties. There are about 40 independent wine growers in the Côtes de Thongue which is hoping to be upgraded to full AOC status.

Côtes de Thongue: Domaine Les Filles de Septembre Rosé - Yapp Brothers One Minute Review
Jason Yapp reviews the Côtes de Thongue rosé from Domaine Les Filles de Septembre, in the Languedoc. Lovely crushed red berry aromas - raspberry and rosehip, with a whistle-clean fresh palate and a dry finish. Light, very summery, ideal for drinking outdoors with picnics.
