Côtes du Rhône: Pascal Frères 'Cuvée Personelle' 2016
A négociant wine that has graced these pages for decades coming from our old chum Yves Chéron's 'Pascal Frères' stable. Their über-reliable 'Cuvée Personelle', from a Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre blend, has deservedly garnered a loyal following. It drinks very well with 3-5 years bottle-age.
A quintessential commercial Côtes du Rhône wine with soft supple tannins, good brambly fruit and a warming, spicy finish.

He produces his own Gigondas, Grand Montmirail, from vineyards at the domaine, as well as vinifying wines from bought-in grapes at his négociant enterprise, Pascal Frères, which is situated between Gigondas and Vacqueyras.
