Côtes du Roussillon: Agly Brothers 2018
."Deeply colored, the 2018 Côtes Du Roussillon Villages is a step up over the 2017 and has rocking notes of black raspberries, blackberries, spring flowers, licorice, and graphite. It's rich and full-bodied, with a terrific mid-palate and a great finish. 93-95/100"

This is the terrific northern hemisphere joint venture (as opposed to 'La Pleiade' in Australia) between legendary biodynamic winemakers and bonzer mates, Ron Laughton and Michel Chapoutier.
First produced in 2004, Ron and Michel have overseen steady improvements to this blend of Syrah and Grenache from just 3 hectares in the Roussillon (hence very limited quantities are produced).
Certified as an organic wine.

Agly Brothers - Ron Laughton and Michel Chapoutier
Following the successful joint venture between Ron & Elva Laughton Michel & Corinne Chapoutier with 'La Pléiade', a wine produced in Heathcote, Australia (and named after a constellation that can only be seen in the southern hemisphere), Ron Laughton and Michel Chapoutier then repeated their adventure in the north, this time with a wine produced in the Agly valley in France.View more wines from this producer...
