Crozes Hermitage: Pascal Frères 2017
A traditional, mid-weight Crozes Hermitage wine from the ever-popular Pascal Frères. With classic Syrah farmyard and saddle leather aromas preceding a palate of dark, brambly fruit offset by firm, well-integrated tannins, this can't fail to please when matched with a good steak or a confit of duck.
Crozes Hermitage is the northern Rhône's largest appellation, often producing up to eight times as much wine as nearby Hermitage.
