This mixed case includes

2 x Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie: Domaine de la Mortaine 2018£0.00

There's Muscadet, and then there's Muscadet. The Chéreau's bone dry Muscadet which is both 'de Sèvre et Maine' and 'Sur Lie' has been consistently excellent since we first shipped it 40 years ago. This zesty, palate-tingling wine makes a bracing aperitif, and goes down a treat with oysters, mussels and other 'fruits de mer'.

2 x Lirac: Domaine Maby 'La Fermade' Blanc 2018£0.00

White Lirac is deserving of wider recognition, and the Domaine Maby bottling is a is a fine example - a blend of Grenache Blanc and Clairette that is given some welcome freshness by Piquepoul. A wine that drinks well on its own but is a shoo-in with seafood.

2 x Chablis: Domaine Christophe Camu 2018£0.00

Classy, unoaked Chablis from a talented, sixth generation winemaker. It is light and supple enough to savor without accompaniment but will take all manner of crustacea and seafood in its stride.

2 x Menetou Salon: Domaine Jean Teiller Rosé 2019£0.00

This Mentou Salon rosé wine from pure organically-grown Pinot Noir exhibits similar finesse to the Domaine Teiller Blanc, and is ideal for alfresco imbibing!

2 x Gigondas: Domaine Saint Gayan 'Origine' 2015£0.00

"The lightest and most approachable of the three cuvées from Domaine Saint Gayan, the 2015 Gigondas Origine showcases cherries and red plums, medium to full body and supple tannins, picking up a dusting of cinnamon on the long finish. 89-91/100. Drink 2017 - 2025."

2 x Bandol: Mas de la Rouvière Rouge 2016£0.00

A full-bodied Bandol red wine from the Côte d'Azur, with a beguiling, deep purple robe, dark, hedgerow berry scents and a palate of black fruit, spices, dried ceps and game.
