Jura Arbois: Poulsard Domaine Jean-Louis Tissot 2022
Do not make the mistake of under-estimating this light, ruby-coloured Jura red, which harbours aromas of red fruits and a spicy palate with some grip. It is the perfect wine partner to grilled trout, roasted poultry, or Morteau sausage with lentils.
The most widely planted of the Jura region's red wine varieties, Poulsard (aka 'Ploussard' by those crazy folk south of Arbois) enjoys the Jura's marl soils. This versatile light red wine can be enjoyed at any point throughout a meal, from aperitif to cheese course. Ideally serve at 14 degrees C.
