Much as we love full-bodied wines for fireside drinking in the winter, as the days lengthen and the temperature rises we enjoy supple, refreshing, fruit-accentuated red wines that benefit from ten minutes in the fridge or a splash in an ice bucket. These wines are all ideal for serving lightly-chilled with picnics, barbecues and the best of company.

This mixed case contains two bottles each of:

RED:
Coteaux de l'Ardèche: Cépage Pinot Noir 2018
IGP Collines Rhodaniennes: Cave Saint-Désirat Gamay 2019
Bourgogne Pinot Noir: Closerie des Alisiers 2019
Beaujolais Villages: Arnaud Aucoeur 'Vieilles Vignes' 2018
Saint-Pourçain: 'La Ficelle' Rouge 2020
Côtes de Gascogne: Domaine Millet Merlot - Cabernet Franc 2018

This mixed case includes

2 x Coteaux de l'Ardèche: Cépage Pinot Noir 2018£0.00

A youthful Ardèche Pinot Noir which has subtle strawberry scents and a core of soft, juicy redcurrant fruit with pleasant smoky undertones over gentle tannins. It won't be harmed by a brief sojourn in an ice bucket!

This Gamay Vin de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes from the Cave de Saint-Désirat co-opérative drinks well lightly-chilled in the Summer and makes a fine accompaniment to all manner of picnics, barbecues and light lunches.

2 x Bourgogne Pinot Noir: Closerie des Alisiers 2019£0.00
