We have enjoyed a plethora of positive press this year, so thought it only fair to share some top journalists' preferred choices with you.

This mixed case contains two bottles each of:

Pouilly-Fumé: Domaine Dominique Guyot 'Les Loges' 2019
"The 2019 Domaine Guyot 'Les Loges' Pouilly Fumé is the latest vintage of a wine the Yapps have bought every year since 1973. Classic Loire Sauvignon Blanc, it's full of fresh cut grass and juicily rounded gooseberries with a mineral kick. You won't find better for the price."
Jonathan Ray - The Spectator.

Pfalz: Stefan Meyer 'Aus Rhodt' Chardonnay 2018
"I have to admit to being completely gobsmacked by the swagger and class in this glass. I would not hesitate to guess that this was a lusty, well-established white Burgundy if I were poured this wine blind but, no, it is a thrilling, keenly priced, pioneering German Chardy! Wow – this is a massive treat and a wine you will not forget in a hurry."
Matthew Jukes - MoneyWeek.

Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence: Domaine des Oullières Rosé 2020
"Broad fruit followed by lots of life and energy. Zesty. Drink 2021 – 2022. 16/20"
Janis Robinson MW, OBE -

Côtes du Vivarais 'Grand Aven': Vignerons Ardéchois 2019
"A classic Yapp red, this one's a hearty blend of syrah and grenache that sings of the Rhône, of sun-dried herbs and ripe red and black berries."
Victoria Moore - The Telegraph.

Crozes-Hermitage 'Equinoxe': Domaine Equis 2019
"Mineral-accented dark fruit and floral aromas are energized by a jolt of spicy black pepper. Fleshy, juicy and nicely concentrated, offering finely etched boysenberry, cherry and floral pastille Crozes-Hermitage flavors that tighten up on the back half. Densely packed yet energetic as well, finishing with sharp clarity, smooth tannins and strong persistence. Made from fruit grown on the granitic soils of Saint-Jean-du-Muzols."
Josh Raynolds -

Chinon: Francis et Françoise Desbourdes 'L'Arpenty' 2020
"There is nothing more gripping nor more dramatic than a fresh, young, new season Cabernet Franc from the incredible Chinon region in the Loire. This is because it is the most energetic and refreshing blackberry flavour on the planet and the acidity is so clean and bright it goes with every dish you can think of."
Matthew Jukes - Daily Mail.

This mixed case includes

2 x Pouilly-Fumé: Domaine Dominique Guyot 'Les Loges' 2019£0.00

Dominique Guyot produces this bright, rich, rounded Pouilly Fumé wine from mature rootstock on the coveted 'Les Loges' escarpment in the centre of this Loire appellation, which is reserved for wines made from Sauvignon Blanc.

This superb example of Pouilly Fumé drinks jolly well on its own but shellfish, asparagus and goat's cheese are all apposite accompaniments.

2 x Pfalz: Stefan Meyer 'Aus Rhodt' Chardonnay 2018£0.00

After working at wineries in Austria and the New World, Stefan Meyer became the third generation to take charge of his family's 16 hectare estate in 2011. His 'minimal intervention' philosophy yields wines of great charm and character and this Chardonnay (a relative rarity in Germany, where only 600 hectares are planted) nails it.

2 x Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence: Domaine des Oullières Rosé 2020£0.00

This youthful rosé wine from the Coteaux d'Aix, just north of Aix-en-Provence, is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache & Syrah. Crisp, refreshing and savoury, it's ideal when sipped al fresco with or without some freshly-landed langoustines.

2 x Côtes du Vivarais: Vignerons Ardéchois 'Grand Aven' 2019£0.00

A full-bodied, earthy, dry, Rhône red, this Côtes du Vivarais wine has a bouquet of dark hedgerow berries that precedes a full-bodied palate of black fruit with warming undertones of earth and spices.

2 x Crozes Hermitage: Domaine Equis 'Equinoxe' 2019£0.00

The Graillot family is famous for producing fruit-forward accessible red wines made from the Syrah grape. The Crozes Hermitage 'Equinoxe' is an excellent, youthful example, crammed with dark, hedgerow-fruit scents and flavours offset by supple tannins. This wine makes an ideal partner to red meat dishes or flavoursome, hard cheeses.
Bottled under screwcap.

2 x Chinon: Francis et Françoise Desbourdes 'L'Arpenty' 2020£0.00

This delicious Cabernet Franc from Emilien Desbourdes is packed full of youthful, berry fruit and was memorably described by Joanna Simon as being like 'liquid summer pudding'. It has supple tannins that lend it well to light chilling. In short it is a delicious and failsafe crowd-pleaser.

Certified as an organic wine.
