Some wine critics and self-proclaimed oenophiles don't take rosé seriously as a genre. They are misinformed. Celebrate rosé in all its diverse hues with this superb selection from skilled independent wine-makers referencing the Rhône, Provence, Corsica, Gascony and the Languedoc.

This mixed case contains two bottles each of:

ROSÉ:
Lirac: Domaine Maby 'La Fermade' Rosé 2019
Côtes de Gascogne: Domaine Millet Rosé 2019
Côtes de Thongue: Domaine Les Filles de Septembre Rosé 2019
Côtes du Luberon: Château La Canorgue Rosé 2019
Côtes de Provence: Clos Sainte Magdeleine Rosé 2019
Vin de Corse Sartène Rosé: Domaine Saparale 2019

This mixed case includes

2 x Lirac: Domaine Maby 'La Fermade' Rosé 2019£0.00

The Domaine Maby Lirac rosé is made from Rhône staples Grenache and Cinsault. It is more full-bodied than many rosé wines, with a bouquet of bright berry fruit and a full and fruity palate with undertones of rosehips and redcurrants. It's a great food wine, pair it with a broad variety of foods from salmon to charcuterie, and it also lends itself well to Oriental cuisine.

2 x Côtes de Gascogne: Domaine Millet Rosé 2019£0.00

Domaine Millet's rosé is a refreshing, dry, coral pink wine, sensibly bottled under screwcap making it handy for picnics and parties.

2 x Côtes de Thongue: Domaine Les Filles de Septembre Rosé 2019£0.00

The Thongue red is a Yapp bestseller, so we were delighted so discover that their coral-pink rosé wine ticks all the required boxes too - zesty, dry, refreshing and great value.

2 x Côtes du Luberon: Château La Canorgue Rosé 2019£0.00

Provence is renowned for it's rosé wines, and Château la Canorgue's is a superlative example. Made from organically grown Provençal staples Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre, it is a wine light enough to be drunk alone, but would happily stand up to bouillabaisse or a Provençal goat's cheese.

2 x Côtes de Provence: Clos Sainte Magdeleine Rosé 2019£0.00

Bright salmon-pink with characteristic aromas of red berry fruit underscored by saline minerality, a touch of stone fruit, good acidity and a smooth finish.

A touch of tannin balances the acidity making it a perfect match for Provençale dishes like pissaladière or pistou. It also complements fish or artichoke dishes very well.

2 x Vin de Corse Sartène Rosé: Domaine Saparale 2019£0.00

A delicious rosé wine from a blend of three classic Corsican grapes - Vermentino and Sciacarello with a splash of Nielluccio. It makes a perfect al fresco aperitif or partner to dressed crab or lobster.
