The Filliatreaus' principal cuvée in volume terms is their Saumur Champigny which is a big seller on the Parisian restaurant circuit. Like many Loire red wines, it is best served lightly-chilled and makes a great foil for simple grills or charcuterie. Certified organic.
The Saumur Champigny: Domaine Filliatreau is a classic, cool-climate Cabernet Franc from 35+ year old vines grown on clay and limestone soils, farmed organically and biodynamically. It has a lovely, summer-berry bouquet and a juicy, red fruit palate offset by ripe, youthful tannins.

The Filliatreaus are renowned for having modernised winemaking in the Saumur and Saumur Champigny regions, producing vibrant wines with excellent fruit characteristics.
