This adventurous mixed case includes a crisp, dry Chardonnay from the Ardèche, a fresh Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire, and a delicate salmon-pink Cabernet Franc rosé from the Western Cape of South Africa. This delightful, lively Sauvignon Blanc from Quincy is made by Jerôme de la Chaise (bottled under his 'Domaine des Bruniers' label), and has an excellent nose with classic elderflower aromas. This wine makes a terrific accompaniment to asparagus, seafood or fresh goat's cheeses.

This delicate salmon-pink rosé wine from the vineyards of Wellington in the Western Cape of South Africa was awarded 'Best in Class' for the 2021 vintage by the SA National Wine Challenge. Made from 100% Cabernet Franc, it has a floral nose with pink grapefruit, guava and rosehip notes that follow through onto the plate. Creamy and with a hint of Szechuan pepper spice, this is very moreish and ideal for 'al fresco' imbibing!

Yapp is known as a Rhône specialist and this is our flagship Côtes du Rhône, so it ought to be very good ....and it is! Spice, jammy fruit and a rich silky finish. This Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre blend (called 'Trescartes') exemplifies all that is great about the increasingly-popular Southern Rhône reds.

Domaine Taluau-Foltzenogel make this 'Passion' cuvée - a sleek, well-fashioned Bourgueil wine from parcels of vines across 6 communes and 3 soil types: sand, gravel and limestone-clay. Each brings a different character to the Cabernet Franc grape. The former two ensure supple, sleek fruit and lighter-body while the latter gives elegance and structure. Despite being 100% Cabernet Franc, this is a triumph of the blender's art.
