Vacqueyras: Pascal Frères 'Cuvée Spéciale' 2017
This Vacqueyras wine is a silky, spicy Southern Rhône Grenache blend that impresses customers and staff alike in successive vintages. Subtle enough to enjoy on its own, but sublime when paired with game dishes.
This négociant release Vacqueyras from the ever-reliable Pascal Frères is equally commendable but arguably a tad more forward and less complex than their Gigondas bottling, making for extremely versatile drinking.
