Vin de Corse Sartène: Domaine Saparale Rouge 2022
A lovely briary red wine from Corsica blended from 80% Sciacarello and 20% Nielluccio - just the thing to accompany grilled red meat or a ripened Brocciu cheese.
Philippe Farinelli's Vins de Corse Sartène show Corsican wines in a very pure light. The red has aromas of tapenade and wild berries and a wealth of briary hedgerow fruit flavours over a structure of fine tannins.
