RED:
Côtes du Rhône: Jean-Louis Chave Sélection 'Mon Coeur' 2018
"Deep ruby-red. Smoke-accented cherry, dark berries and licorice on the perfumed nose, which takes on succulent floral and herb nuances with air. Smooth, concentrated and gently sweet, offering mineral- and spice-accented black raspberry, cherry and violet pastille flavors and a spicy jolt of cracked pepper. Finishes supple, sweet and quite long, with harmonious tannins and lingering florality."
Josh Raynolds - vinous.com

Collines Rhodaniennes: Domaine Georges Vernay 'Fleurs de Mai' 2019
Yapp Côtes du Rhône Red 2019
Fitou: Domaine des Rebouls 2016
"A densely textured, richly flavoured blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan, it's full of spice, power and character and although in fine nick could easily cope with another couple of years' ageing."
Jonathan Ray - The Spectator.

2 x Collines Rhodaniennes: Domaine Georges Vernay 'Fleurs de Mai' Syrah 2019£0.00

This IGP Collines Rhodaniennes 'Syrah' is the red equivalent of the Vernay's excellent value Viognier 'Pied de Samson'. Both are grown on the upper plateau above the slopes of Condrieu. This is archetypal Northern Rhône Syrah - pepper, crushed rocks and spice.

2 x Yapp Côtes du Rhône Red 2019£0.00

This terrifically versatile, mid-weight Grenache - Syrah blend is our sole geographic own label wine, deriving from the Côtes-du-Rhône... where else? It’s proved hugely popular since we first introduced it to our customers in 2018 and clearly the judges of the Concours Agricole de Paris agreed with its rapport qualité-prix, awarding the 2019 vintage a Silver Medal at the 2020 competition.

2 x Fitou: Domaine des Rebouls 2016£0.00

A juicy, spicy blend of Carignan, Syrah and Grenache from the red wine only appellation of Fitou. It took us a while to find a Fitou we liked, and this one we love.

2 x Saint-Chinian: Château Milhau-Lacugue 'Cuvée Magali' 2015£0.00

If one were looking for a wine that exemplifies how the Languedoc offers terrific quality at modest prices this would silence any sceptics! Blended from Southern staples Syrah, Grenache Noir and Cinsault, this Saint-Chinian wine has a fresh, lip-smacking finish that guarantees you'll want to take another sip.

2 x Côtes de Thongue: Domaine Les Filles de Septembre 'Tradition' 2019£0.00

Hugues and Roland's 'Domaine Les Filles de Septembre' Cuvée Tradition from the Côtes de Thongue has rapidly gained a loyal following, and is now one of our top-selling wines. It has a joyful summer berry bouquet and juicy palate of youthful, red fruit, with bright peppery undertones over a background of supple, ripe tannins. Think Bordeaux meets the Languedoc.
