Savennières: Château d’Epiré 'Mœlleux' 2009

This wonderfully honeyed, sweet Savennières has an alluring bouquet of stewed pears, beeswax and fleurs blanches and a ripe, rounded, terrifically textured palate of grilled nuts and orchard fruit with an underlying acidity and subtle mineral nuances.

Savennières: Château d’Epiré 'Mœlleux' 2009

We were very impressed with the 2009 vintage which has a bouquet of dried fruits and a gently honeyed palate. It is already irresistible but should gain even more depth with bottle-age.
